Since its inception in 2015, Patriots of Texas has been offering “boots on the ground” assistance to local veterans and first responders in need.

Patriots of Texas is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to delivering rapid, real-time assistance to the men and women who protect and serve our communities including veterans, military members, police, firefighters, and first responders in their time of need. We believe those who have dedicated their lives to serving others shouldn’t have to navigate the challenges of traditional assistance programs and wait for the much needed help they need. 

Mission

Our mission is simple: Respond quickly, provide practical support, take meaningful action, and make a lasting difference in the lives of those who have sacrificed for our country and our communities. We are committed to standing beside our veterans, military members, law enforcement officers, fire fighters, and all the first responders by delivering them timely assistance when it’s needed most. By strengthening our Heroes, we strengthen the families, neighborhoods, and communities they proudly serve.

Our History & Approach

Since its inception in 2015, Patriots of Texas has provided “boots on the ground” assistance to local veterans and first responders in their time of need. What began as a small group of friends and small business owners stepping up to help a local veteran whose home was literally falling apart. Now, we have grown into a full-on volunteer-driven organization that supports housing, transportation, building projects, job placement, medical needs, veteran affairs, counseling, and broader community investments.

Every board member serves on a pure volunteer basis. This means that 100% of proceeds go back to the greater community—directly helping our Hometown Heroes and their families in their time of need.

What We Do

We focus on practical, immediate solutions rather than distant programs. When a hero or their family faces a real-world barrier, whether it’s food, safe housing, reliable transportation, accessibility challenges, medical support, counseling, or other urgent needs, we step in with hands-on help. We respond to the actual needs that arise in our local and surrounding communities.

Our work includes (but is not limited to):

· Housing assistance and home repairs/improvements

· Transportation support, including vehicles and vehicle repairs

· ADA accessibility modifications and related needs

· Medical and situational aid, Counseling and mentorship

· Building projects and community investments that strengthen the families of those who serve

· Job placement and Skill trades opportunities

· Food, gas, clothing, essential needs

How We Give Back

Giving back is at the heart of everything we do. We meet the community where it is, addressing whatever local veterans, first responders, and families need most. That ranges from ADA access improvements and vehicle repairs to larger housing and medical support.

Around the holidays, we adopt a number of families in need with children and purchase Christmas gifts, so those kids experience the joy of the season. These efforts, along with our year-round “boots on the ground” assistance, ensure that the people who have given so much to us, receive tangible support in return.

Because our leadership board is entirely volunteer, the impact of every donation, sponsorship, and event is maximized for those who need it most.
